제목 Graphene Oxide Induced Gold Nanoparticle Clusters as Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering Nanoprobes for Biosensing
초록 Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectroscopy has great potential for fast trace detection without any labeling. We previously reported that gold nanoparticle clusters (GNPCs) were formed by nano-sized graphene oxides (NGOs) to develop a new class of SERS nanoprobes for highly sensitive biosensing. In this study, sandwich-type immunocomplexes consisting of the NGO-GNPCs as SERS nanoprobes and magnetic beads (MBs) as magnetic field-based separation tools were developed for detection of Immunoglubulin G (IgG) as antigens. Anti-IgG polyclonal antibodies were chemically conjugated with the NGO-GNPCs while anti-IgG monoclonal antibodies being conjugated with the MBs by using their residual -COOH groups. The NGO-GNPCs-antigen-MBs complexes were formed in the presence of IgG and there was a linear correlation between Raman intensity and IgG concentration. In conclusion, the NGO-GNPCs are useful as SERS nanoprobes for SERS-based biosensing applications.
