제목 Removal of toxic gases on the ASZM-TEDA impregnated Coconut Shell-Based activated carbon
초록 Activated carbon(AC) is able to remove various of harmful gases by physisorption therefore it widely used for filling material of gas mask. Due to the surface property of AC is non-polar generally, it has favourable adsorption capacity for nonpolar gas like Cl2, but less adsorption capacity for polar gases such as HCN, HCl and H2S.

In this study, we used ASZM-TEDA as an impregnation meterial and compared its adsorption capacity with non impregnated AC's. Contineously-column adsorption was carried out and Adsorption capacity was calculated by the result of breakthrough curve. Breakthrough time was measured at C/C0 = 0.2 %. The results showed that impregnation materials ASZM-TEDA is effective in enhancing an adsorption capacity of Coconut shell based AC.
