제목 Thermoresponsive Amphiphilic Star Block Copolymer Photosensitizer: Smart BTEX Remover
초록 Thermosensitive well-defined amphiphilic star block copolymer photosensitizers were synthesized by sequential block copolymerization of styrene and N-isopropyl acrylamide from a photocatalyic porphyrin core through RAFT process. Obtained starpolymers were applied for water purification system, which removed the toxic organic materials such as benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene,xylene (BTEX) in water, following the procedure that absorbed BTEX near to the porphyrin core by effective hydrophobic interaction and then decomposed them under UV irradiation by activated singlet oxygen. The combination of starpolymers with UV irradiation effectively decomposed BTEX approximately over 95% except for Toluene, which relatively high performance comparing to other combinations such as only UV, only starpolymers and starpolymers with visible light. Finally, the function of dehydration of PNiPAM outer layer led easy to recycle starpolymers by a simple filtration after thermal treatment.
