Microsystem-based biosensors have been actively studied for point-of-care (POC) biosensor application. Reliable, anti-fouling membrane for the system is highly required. We here present a new microsystem that has functional coatings for the inner surfaces and embedded nanoporous filter. We have utilized the microphase separation of polymer thin film that consisted of block- or graft- copolymer and homopolymer for creating of nanoporous structure. Amphiphilic block copolymer and graft copolymer may have the ability to create various nano-morphological structures. In addition, special molecule that has small cavity to capture bioactive molecules such as protein or drug compound also applied in the coating. Solid phase of high-density cyclodextrins(CyDs) may be useful potential material for such molecular capturing membrane by using the cavity of CyDs. We prepared various active coatings for microfluidic system , and this will provide a new insight to portable biosensor technology. |
