제목 COPOLYMERIZATION OF ETHYLENE AND 1-HEXENE USING XYLENE BRIDGE CATIONIC DINUCLEAR CONSTRAINED GEOMETRY CATALYST
초록 Cationic Dinuclear Constrained Geometry Catalyst (CGC) with the xylene bridges [Ti(C9H15SiMe2Ntert-butyl) Cl2 CH2]2 [(C6H13)2 C6H2] was prepared by treating two equivalents of TiCl3(THF)3 with the corresponding tetralithium salt of ligand followed by oxidation by AgCl. CGC catalyst was characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and elemental analysis. To study the catalyst behavior of the dinuclear catalyst, we conducted copolymer of ethylene and 1-hexene in the presences of MMAO cocatalyst at the various reaction conditions such as reaction time, reaction temperature, ratio of cocatalyst, ratio of 1-hexene, etc. It was observed that the activity of the catalysts increases with an increase in polymerization temperature, the [Al]/[Ti] ratio from 2000 to 4000 and the concentration of 1-hexene from 0.1 mol/L to 0.8 mol/L . Meanwhile, the molecular weight seems to be sensitive to the polymerization conditions, for example, it decreased as the temperature increased.
