Effect on Microporosity of KOH-Activated Carbons in Nitrogen and Argon Adsorption |
초록 |
In this work, we studied the effect of the microporosity of activated carbons prepared by KOH activation. The elemental composition of the surface of the activated carbons was characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The surface charaterization was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM).. The structural properties were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The specific surface area and pore volumes of the activated carbons were determinated using the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) and Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) equation. A series of samples were characterizated using nitrogen and argon adsorption. And experimental results demonstrate argon adsorption in narrow carbon micropores |
