The Preparation of Ethylene/1-Hexene/Divinylbenzene Terpolymer using Metallocene Polymerization |

In this study, we made a terpolymer(Ethylene/1-Hexene/Divinylbenzene) using metallocene catalyst activated by Methyl Aluminoxane(MAO). We studied the effects of reaction time and temperature on the catalytic activity, molecular weight(Mw) and molecular weight distribution(MWD). Mw and MWD were measured by high temperature GPC(Gel Permeation Chromatography). We confirmed the structure of the terpolymer by infrared spectroscopy and proton NMR(Nuclear Magnetic Resonance). |
