Recently, a series of cellulose polymers have become the focus of attention as environmentally-friendly composite materials. It is very important to understand the cellulose resin and composite material itself and their interactions. In this study, emulsion polymerization of styrene was carried out by introducing the HEMA-modified hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose Phthalate(HPMCP) resins. The rate of polymerization, stability(ζ-potential), particle morphology, particle size and size distribution, DSC, TGA data and gel content were measured to investigate the effect of the HEMA-modified HPMCP resin. |
