Conjugated copolymers have attracted a great deal of attention because of their potential application as EL materials for light-emitting diodes(LED). To achievement of high efficiency and blue luminescence in an LED, prevented self-quenching process due to formations of excimers is essential. Here, blue-light-emitting copolymers , having advantages of PF, PPP and PPV, have been designed and synthesized, which enhanced efficiency and limited formations of excimers. The structure, thermal and luminescent properties of the copolymers were investigated by various spectroscopic methods. |
