The characteristics of the powders used as cathode materials in lithium secondary battery are strongly affected by the preparation processes. The spray pyrolosis is a useful method for the synthesis of cathode powders with high-purity, fine size and narrow size distributions. In this work, the precursor powders of Li(Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)O2 are prepared through spray pyrolysis, using an FEAG. Filter expansion aerosol generator (FEAG) is one of the use of a new spray generator, in the preparation of powders and thin films under reduced pressure. The characteristics of the Li(Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)O2 powders prepared using the FEAG were investigated. |
