Characteristics of Poly(vinylidene fluoride) Microfiltration Hollow Fiber Membrane Treated under various non-solvent conditions |
초록 |
Poly(vinylidene fluoride) hollow fiber membrane post-treated thermally under the various non-solvent conditions was examined using differential scanning calorimetry, capillary flow porometer, and scanning electron microscopy and their microfiltration performances such as water flux, rejection rate, as well as elongational strength were characterized in terms of morphological transformation. It is revealed that the porous structure of membranes was strongly depended on a variety of treatment conditions and thereby resulting in the improvement of membrane performances such as mechanical strength. This study shows that that post treatment assisted by non-solvent is a very effective tool to manipulate the microfiltration performances together with porous structure of membranes. |
