제목 A Semi-Empirical Model Equation for the Direct Methanol Fuel Cell
초록 A semi-empirical model equation, proposed for polymer electrolyte fuel cells, are used to predict the cell voltage versus current density response of a liquid feed direct methanol fuel cell(DMFC). The model is developed based on the methanol activity from the modified perturbed hard-sphere-chain(MPHSC) by introducing a new perturbation equation that is obtained from the generalized Lennard-Jones potential function. The model is validated against experimental data for a small-scale fuel cell and is applicable over a wide range of methanol concentration and temperatures.
