Potency of silk/β-Tricalcium Phosphate Scaffolds as Biomaterial for Bone Repair |
초록 |
Silk fibroin is a biomaterial for biomedical applications because it has a number of attractive properties such as biocompatibility and biodegradability. However, it has a lack of mechanical properties for bone replacement graft material. To increase osteoconductivity and osteoinductivity, mechanical property and osteoconductivity of silk scaffold were modified by β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP). β-TCP as a type of bioceramics has degradable, osteoconductive and minimal cytotoxicity. Physical and chemical characterizations of silk/β-TCP scaffolds were determined by SEM, compressive strength, and FT-IR, etc. Also, osteogenic differentiation of rabbit bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (rBMSCs) cultured in scaffold was assessed using alkaline phosphatase (ALP), MTT, RT-PCR, and SEM. These results showed that silk/β-TCP (75:25) scaffold was higher cell proliferation and differentiation of rBMSCs compared with other groups. |
