제목 Large-Scale Hydrogen Liquefaction Process Using Carbon Dioxide
초록 In an effort toreduce greenhouse gas, hydrogen energy is being used in various fields. Interms of efficiency, the process of liquefaction of hydrogen is essential andthere already exists hydrogen liquefaction process modeling using LNG as apre-coolant. However, it has the advantage of being able to utilize cold heatin the process of converting LNG into NG, but at the same time has thedisadvantage of emitting a large amount of carbon dioxide from SMR process. Thus,this study is aimed to modeling a large-scale hydrogen liquefaction process reusingcarbon dioxide as a refrigerant in pre-cooling cycle improving energyefficiency then GA optimization applied. Then Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) willbe proceeded to compare whether carbon dioxide as a pre-coolant reduces environmentalimpact with existing processes.​
