Study on the Effect of Substitution Bond of Cu and Ce on CO Oxidation |

This study is about the effect of substitution bond of Cu and Ce on CO oxidation reaction. Catalysts were prepared by controlling the molar ratio of Cu and Ce and the calcining temperature of Cerium, and the correlation between the physical and chemical properties and the reaction activity of the prepared catalyst was confirmed. As a result, the substitution bonds of Cu and Ce were confirmed in all catalysts, and as the non-stoichiometric species(Ce3+) were increased, they favored the formation of substitution bonds of Cu and Ce. In addition, as the substitution bonds formed increased, it showed excellent CO oxidation activity. Therefore, it is judged that the formation of Cu and Ce substituted bonds is advantageous for CO oxidation reaction. |
