Microlens have wide applications in consumer products, such as flat panel displays, digital optical processors, image systems, optical communication. This paper describes a effective method for fabrication of innovative concave, convex, compound eye microlens array with controlled surface profiles, using a novel method developed in this work. Unlike a conventional single microlens array, innovative microlens array is structured micropattern arrays on curvature of a singles microlens array. Silicon master of micro-cylinder array is prepared using photolithography and the film (PC, polycarbonate) is used to fabricate the compound eye , concave, convex microlens array. Microlens arrays having innovative lens have been successful fabricated and its image forming was evaluated. |
