제목 Aminolysis of Oxetanes: aluminum amide reagent derived from arylamines
초록 Research from our own laboratory has focused upon the development of new synthetic pathways using aluminum complex. One widely used reagent of note is dimethylaluminum amide reagent, derived from the reaction between trimethylaluminum and the corresponding amine.
We synthesized azacycles from five- and six-membered cyclic ether in preceding study that based on application using aluminum amide reagent.
In this synthesis, four-membered cyclic ether(oxetanes) were treated with aluminum amide reagents. Recyclization did not occur between dimethylaluminum amide and oxetane.  In ring opening oxetane, derived from a range of arylamines and trimethylalunimum, to afford the corresponding γ-amino alcohols in good yield.
