Preparation of Benzoxazine-Benzimidazole Copolymers Having Network Structure for High Temperature Fuel Cells |
초록 |
New phosphoric acid-doped cross-linked benzoxazine-benzimidazole copolymer membranes were developed for the application in proton exchange membrane fuel cell at high temperature (> 100 oC). The cross-linked copolymer membranes were prepared by mixing polybenzimidazole (PBI) derivatives with benzoxazine monomers using either a typical solution casting or direct casting methods. These membranes showed high proton conductivity up to 0.12 S cm-1 at 150 oC under anhydrous conditions, and their membrane-electrode assembly (MEAs) presented higher operating voltages, durability, and slower performance decay rate than PBI only membrane. |
