제목 Cross-linked Poly(benzoxazine)-Poly(benzimidazole) Copolymer Membranes for High Temperature Fuel Cell Applications; Synthesis and Characterization
초록 Poly(benzoxazine)-poly(benzimidazole) (PBOA-PBI) copolymer membranes were fabricated by mixing of PBI with benzoxazine(BOA) in N,N-dimethylacetamide, followed by stepwise heating above 200 oC. BOA was polymerized during the heating process while the covalent linkages were formed bwtween PBOA and PBI chains. The presense of the crosslinking improved the chemical and mechanical stabilities even when the membranes were highly doped with phosphoric acid. Membrane-electrode asseblies employing the membranes were fabricated to measure the cell performance and the long-term durability.
