Extrative Distillation Columns Through driving force based technique for optimal process synthesis/Design, and , Process Simulation, have been used. The objective of the experimental work has been to validate the estimated peformance of the selected solvents as well as to clarify the uncertainties in the final design. it has been possible to perform a sensitivity analysis and through it, verify the solvent selection, process design as well as a cost analysis to make the final evaluation of the new design. |
