제목 Curing Behavior of Poly Urethane Resin Modified with Soy-Bean Oil Based pMDI Prepolymer and Its Properties and Characterization
초록 This study attempted to study the curing behavior of polymeric diphenylmethane-4, 4’-diisocyanate (pMDI) modified with soy-bean oil (SBO) in the preparation of isocyanate prepolymer. The adhesion properties of the isocyanate prepolymer mixed with poly-urethane (PU) resin are also investigated. For this purpose, SBO/pMDI prepolymers with different ratios of SBO to pMDI were prepared and their chemical structure and adhesive performance were examined by Fourier transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectrum and bond strength measurement. The SBO/pMDI ratio with the highest bond strength was selected and mixed with PU resin of different concentrations. The chemical structures and curing behaviors of SBO/pMDI prepolymers were examined using FT-IR spectrometers , differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermo gravimetric analysis(TGA).
