Effects of the incorporation of safflower seed extract in PCL-PLGA three-dimensional biodegradable scaffolds |

In this investigation, we developed a method to prepare a biodegradable polymeric scaffold as a drug carrier. To identify, investigation on the physical properties of scaffold was carried out using various experimental analysis. The pore size of scaffold was analyzed using SEM. Physical properties such as porosity and compressive strength were examined. Cellular responses to the scaffold were examined in terms of proliferation and ALP activity. Results clearly indicate that the scaffolds displayed biologically and mechanically favorable properties and functions. |
