PCL/PLGA system can be used as a hard tissue substitute for bone regeneration and restoration. This study performed analysis on osteoblast cell responses to PCL/PLGA blend. Scaffolds were made of various ratio of PCL/PLGA, i.e. 100/0, 70/30, 50/50, 30/70, and 0/100. In addition, surface of the scaffolds were modified. The result revealed that PLC/PLGA blending ratio significantly affected cellular responses. Proliferation and differentiation were examined by CCK-8 and ALP assay respectively. Mineralization of osteoblast was observed through FE-SEM and immunohistological analysis. |
