제목 Analysis of Anisotropic Pitch Behavior from Isotropic Pitch with Various Condition of Polymer Addition
초록 In this study, pitch was synthesized using FCC-DO to investigate the mesophase content change of pitch after heat treatment. An isotropic pitch was prepared by heat treatment at 380℃. To prepare anisotropic pitch, 0.5-10% of PE and PP were added to the prepared isotropic pitch, followed by heat treatment at 400℃. TGA and softening point analysis were performed to investigate the thermal properties of the synthesized pitch, and the structural analysis of the pitch was performed using XRD. Polarization microscopy was used for the optical characterization of the synthesized pitch, and the molecular weight distribution of the pitch was investigated by MALDI TOF analysis and soxhlet method. PP and PE are considered to decompose and form radicals during heat treatment, and they make crosslinking between aromatic molecules, affecting mesophase synthesis behavior.
