The promising cathode material for Li-batteries LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2 has been synthesized by two methods including Urea method and co-precipitation method using the mixed metal hydroxide as precursor. Structural and electrochemical properties of the LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2 materials were characterized by means of powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scaning electron microscope(SEM), Cyclic voltammetry, Charge-discharge cycler. The electrochemical properties of have been found to be greatly influenced by the preparation method being related even with the small variation of chemical composition, ceramic morphology and the oxidation state of transition metal ions there in. We will discuss on the obtained results in focus of the origin of the observed differences in electrochemical properties between the samples. |
