Graphene based composites have been received much attention due to easy hybridization with other substances. Polyaniline (PANI) is a popular conducting polymer due to easy bulk-scale polymerization, environmental stability, simply controllable electrical properties by acid-doping/base-dedoping chemistry, and so on. Composite materials based on the combination of graphene and PANI are expected to improve mechanical, electrical, thermal, and other properties. In this study, we investigated the photo-response properties of reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and PANI nanocomposites with various molar ratio. The nanocomposites were prepared from oxidative polymerization of aniline in presence of amine functionalized rGO. Structural and optical properties of the nanocomposites were carried out FT-IR, Raman, UV-visible spectrometer, x-ray diffraction analysis. The photo-response properties have been measured under irradiation of controlled wavelengths from various light sources. |
