Effects of post-cultural incubation conditions on microalgal lipid production |
| 초록 |
Lipid content can be enhanced in microalgae by applying of various post-cultural incubation conditions. Cells were first grown in normal optimum cultivation conditions to obtain high cell density and then transferred to second stage in which nitrogen content was depleted and various incubation conditions were provided. Lipid content could increase by adjusting nitrogen level, degree of mixing and light exposure. This two stage process is advantageous as it can improve lipid content as well as lipid productivity and without compromising the productivity of algal biomass. |
