Desalination performance of FCDI system using coreshell electrodes |

In capacitive electrochemical cell using flow electrode, carbon concentration were great effect on overall adsorption capacity. Therfore, many studies are under way to enhance its mobility through surface modification and/or control particle size distribution ect. In this study, we have synthesis activated carbon coated with cation/anion conducting polymers by radical polymerization. After that, it was applied to FCDI system as a flow electrode and evaluated its electrosorption behavior. |
