제목 | The effect of silica’s ratio in filler system on the properties of silica containing compounds |
초록 | Precipitated Silica, an amorphous white filler, has been recently highlighted as an important reinforcing material for replacing conventional carbon blacks in natural and synthetic rubbers. Partial replacement has resulted in enhanced performance such as higher wet traction and lower rolling resistance in rubber compounding in spite of its high viscosity, induced by strong filler-filler interaction. In this study, compounds were prepared based on different SBRs, silica, and carbon black using an internal mixer. The cure behavior and mechanical property of mixed rubber compounds were measured using a torque rheometer, tensile tester, and dynamic mechanical analyser etc. The effect of silica’s loading portion in filler system of silica and carbon black for these properties will be discussed. |
