Highly Effective Syntheses of Anionic Surfactants Derived From Isosorbide. |
초록 |
Isosorbide derived from biomass is important for the industrial renewable material because of the limit of petroleum reserve. It is considered as an important platform material of the starch industry. A series of anionic surfactants derived from isosorbide with the chain length of the various alkyl group have been synthesized effectively by alkylation and sulfonation. Surface tension, emulsion stability, and foaming stability of the synthesized surfactants have been tested in aqueous solution. The cmc of IPS-ENn and IPS-EXn surfactants decreases as the chain length of the alkyl group increases. The minimum average areas per molecule (Amin) of IPS-EN6 and IPS-EX6 are 1.47 and 1.53 nm2, respectively. The difference in the Amin may be attributed to the structural differences in the two isomers. |
