제목 Recovery of Intracellular Fatty Acid from Recombinant E. coli for Improving Long-chain Fatty Acid Production
초록 Recently, a recombinant strains for the improvement of the hydrocarbon accumulation in the cells has been reported. However, in order to produce liquid fuel economically, the recovery of long-chain fatty acid in the cell is extremely important. In the present work, a process is proposed for the recovery of fatty acids from Recombinant E. coli MG1655 which provides longer chain fatty acids. After the growth of the recombinant E. coli, the cells were disrupted by high pressure homogenizer for obtaining intracellular fatty acids and the resulting solutions were centrifuged and extracted. To obtain the optimum conditions for the process, the recovery % of total lipid was evaluated as a function of  homogenizing pressure, centrifuging power and type of organic extraction system.
