Influence of Carbon Black Types on Mechanical Properties and Crosslinking Aspects of Carbon Blacks/Natural Rubber Compounds |

In this work, the influence of carbon black types on mechanical properties and crosslinking aspects of carbon blacks/natural rubber compounds was studied. The carbon blacks as N220, N330, and N550 were treated with benzene. The compounds with reinforcements, curing accelerators, and crosslinking agents were mixed using internal mixer. The degree of vulcanization of the compounds was evaluated using rheometer. Mechanical properties of the compounds were studied by tensile strength. |
