In this work, epoxy/pitch composites were prepared by mixing the heat-treated pitch with epoxy. The effect of heat-treated pitch to the epoxy/pitch composites on thermal properties was investigated. The pitch after heat-treatment was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD). And, the thermal properties of the epoxy/pitch composites were investigated by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Also, thermal conductivity of the epoxy/pitch composites was measured using the thermal conductivity analyzer. |
