제목 PLGA/gelatin/HAp composite nanofibrous scaffolds for bone regeneration
초록 Biomimetic nanofibrous poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA)/gelatin/hydroxyapatite (HAp) composite scaffolds were electrospun for bone tissue engineering. The blends of PLGA, gelatin (blending ratio; 0, 30, 70, and 100 wt%; gelatin to PLGA) with HAp were electrospun and the amount of HAp on a surface of nanofibers was determined. The properties of composite scaffolds were characterized by the SEM, TGA, DSC, mechanical test, wettability, water uptake and ATR-FT-IR. Mean diameter of electrospun fibers was increased with increase of gelatin content or incorporating of HAp. HAp particles were observed on a surface area of nanofibers in proportion to gelatin amount. The cell adhesion and proliferation were increased in composite nanofibers compared to PLGA nanofiber. These results indicated that incorporated gelatin causes the exposition of HAp to the surface of polymeric fiber.
