제목 Preparation of biofunctional electrospun composite nanofibers for bone tissue engineering
초록 Electrospinning has recently gained a new motive force due to the introduction of the concept of biofunctional electrospun composite nanofibers that biomimic the extracellular matrix (ECM) of native tissue. In this study, we developed micro-porous and nanofibrous PLA/gelatin composite scaffolds using ultra-sonication and thermally induced phase separation (TIPS). Bone morphogenic protein 2 (BMP-2) was loaded on the surface of heparin immobilized composite scaffold to regenerate bone tissue. The morphological and physical properties were characterized. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) were seeded and cultured on the composite scaffold and fully characterized its osteogenesis potential
