Triacetyl cellulose(TAC) films have been exclusively used as protective films for polarizing plate. In this study Triacetyl cellulose(TAC) films were prepared using solution casting method. The mechanical properties, thermal stability and optical properties of TAC films plasticized by three type of plasticizer, triphenyl phosphate(TPP), ethyl phthalyl ethyl glycolate(EPEG) and a mixture of TPP and EPEG have been investigated in order to find the optimum plasticization condition for a protective film application in LCD. |
