제목 Improving of Interfacial Adhesion and Oxygen Barrier Properties of PP/EVOH Multi-layer Films by MAH-g-PP/SurlynTM
초록 Nowadays, polymer adhesion at interfaces is of interest because of its importance in polymer blends, composites, and lamination of polymers. The modified maleic anhydride(MAH)-grafted polypropylene(PP) has been used for compatibilization of immiscible polar polymers and non-polar PP. In this work, we used modified MAH-g-polypropylene/SurlynTM to improve the adhering properties of the multi-layer film which consists of polar and non-polar layers(ex. polypropylene/polyamide and polypropylene/polyester). Also, modified MAH-grafted polypropylene/SurlynTM could be used to improve the barrier property of the PP/EVOH multi-layer film with a well-developed laminar structure. We investigated the effects of preparation conditions and the included amount of MAH-grafted polypropylene/SurlynTM.
