Polymer/Multuwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were prepared by functionalized MWCNTs using Aminostyrene under the condition of atom transfer radical polymerization. The functionalization of multiwalled carbon nanotubes is an efficient way to promote solubility of MWCNTs and conductivity of film of polymer grafted with functionalized MWCNTs. In this study, Synthesis grafited polymer used Polystyrene(PS), Poly(styrene sulfonic acid)(PSSA) and PS-co-PSSA. Also, Polymer/MWCNTs coposites are characterized with SEM, XPS and TGA. MWCNTs coposites can be uniformly dispersed into PS. Electrical conductivity of the film was increased by increasing MWNTs-g-Polymer content in the PS. The functionalized MWCNTs nanocomposite showed significant improvement in dispersibility in solution and film. Also, the film of PS grafted with MWCNTs-g-polymer observed electical conductivity and meachanical properties. |
