제목 Hybrid scaffold of porcine small intestinal submucosa and hyaluronic acidfor disc regeneration
초록 The porcine small intestinal submucosa(SIS) without immunorejection responses and hyalunonic acid(HA) have been used as biomaterials. In this study, we dereloped novel scaffold that mixed SIS and HA(SIS-HA) for annulus fibrosus(AF). SIS-HA sponge was prepared by freeze-drying after addition 1 wt% HA solution in fabricatied SIS sponge. Sponge was crosslinked with 1-ethyl-(3-3-dimethyl aminopropyl) carbodiimide hydrochloride (EDC) solution with 100 mM concentration for 24 hrs and lyophilized. SIS-HA sponge was characterized by SEM and FT-IR to test their morphology and funcitional group. The ability of water absorption of sponge was evaluated. The presence of HA in SIS-HA sponge was demonstated by C-O funcitonal group. Moreover, we confirmed lower cytotoxicity and higher cell viability in the SIS-HA sponge than SIS. This may be due to the enhanced natural properties and higher water retention capacity of HA. This research was supported by MHWFA(0405-BO01-0204-0006) and WCU(R31-20029).
