제목 CNT-PPy composite Counter Electrodes in Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells
초록 Modified multiwalled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and polypyrrole(PPy) composite (CNT-PPy films) deposited by electrochemical polymerization were used as a counter electrode(CE) for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The electrochemical polymerization technique of modified CNT-polypyrrole composites were easy to control electro conductivity. CNTs were grafted with poly(styrene sulfonate)(PSSNa) to enhance the dispersion in water. PSS- anion also contribute to the electrochemical polymerization of PPy as dopants. In this study, the electrochemical catalytic activity of modified CNT-PPy composites was optimized with different thickness controlled by the deposition time. The energy conversion efficiency of DSSCs using modified CNT-PPy composite CE reached about 80%, of Pt CE for DSSCs. The electronic properties of modified CNT-polypyrrole composite CEs have been studied electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) and cyclic voltammetry.
