제목 Direct Heteoarylation Polymerization of Thiophene-Based Conjugated Polymers and Their Photovoltaic Applications
초록 A series of conjugated polymers of poly(3-alkylthiophene-co-cyanothiophene) with various side chain length were synthesized via direct heteroarylation polymerization in a relatively high yield via simple purification procedure. The addition of cyanothiophene as a comonomer enhanced the intermolecular interaction between neighboring chains and improved the structural perfection of the crystal structure on the substrate. The addition of electron-withdrawing cyanothiophene improved the hole mobility of the poly(3-alkylthiophene)s and displayed good film-forming properties on the various substrates. These polymers were used as a hole transport layer of photovoltaic devices and also measured their performance. The use of these polymers is expected to facilitate the hole transport to the metal anode and effectively block the electron transfer to metal anodes.
