Synthesis of Zinc Oxide Nanostructures and Its Application to Nylon Fibers |

In this study, ZnO nanorod and ZnO nanoplate, respectively were synthesized by solvothermal method to investigate the effect of ZnO morphology on structure and properties of Nylon/ZnO nanocomposite fibers. Nylon Master Batch compounded with 10wt% ZnO was prepared by using a melt twin screw extruder. Nylon/ZnO nanocomposite filaments with ZnO content of 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0wt% were prepared by melt spinning, and their physicochemical properties were characterized by various analytical methods. |
