제목 Novel Thermally Stable, Flexible and Colorless Polynorbornene Modified with Diverse Dicarboximide Moieties Synthesized by Ring-Opening Metathesis Polymerization(ROMP)
초록 Norbornene is a cyclohexene bridged with a methylene group in the para position. In general, polynorbornenes synthesized by ring-opening metathesis polymerization(ROMP) present excellent optical clarity. However, their thermal stability is not enough to apply for the substrate of flexible display or optical waveguides. In this work, We synthesized new polynorbornene modified with diverse dicarboximides by ROMP, to increase thermal stability, especially, glass transition temperature and mechanical flexibility as well as optical transparency, and characterized their optical, thermal, mechanical properties using IR spectroscopy, UV/Vis spectropcopy, TGA, DSC, and photoluminescence spectroscopy.
