Hydrothermal assisted decoration of Indium Hydroxide onto one dimensional CdS for efficent visible photocatalytic activity |
초록 |
Highly efficient photogenerated charge separation and surface catalytic reaction are highly anticipated for preparing the high-performance semiconductor based photocatalytic systems. Nevertheless, concurrently satisfying the two requirements is still a great challenge for one-component photocatalyst. Loading nanosized cocatalyst onto main photocatalyst surface has been proved to be a strategy for inhibiting the recombination of photogenerated charge carriers and decreasing the overpotential of surface catalytic reaction. Herein, we have proposed CdS-In(OH)3 heterostrucutred photocatalytic system for water splitting reaction and the results indicate that the decorated In(OH)3 has a potential to improve the charge separation and then the photocatalytic activty. |
