제목 Wide-bandgap Donor Copolymers Based on dithieno[3,2-b:2′,3′-d]-pyridin-5(4H)-one for Polymer Solar Cells
초록 Non-fullerene acceptor(NFAs) polymer solar cells(PSCs) have attracted attention because of flexibility and light weight. To realize high performance PSCs, the donor–acceptor(D–A) framework of wide-bandgap(WBG) donor copolymers is an effective strategy. WBG polymers mostly have deep highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO) levels that can enhance the open-circuit voltage, and show well matching absorption with NFAs, which can increase the short-circuit current density. Dithieno[3,2-b:2′,3′-d]-pyridin-5(4H)-one(DTP) has a high hole mobility owing to the carbonyl group in the central ring. In addition, It has a deep HOMO level, because the planar aromatic structure of DTP induces strong π-electron delocalization among the polymer backbones. In the study, we designed and synthesized WBG copolymers based on DTP unit by introducing different alkyl chains. These results demonstrate that DTP-based copolymers are promising materials to reach the high performance non-fullerene PSCs.
