제목 Polymerization of Ethynylpyridines by (Bicyclo[2.2.1]hepta-2,5-diene)dichloro Palladium (II) and Properties of the Resulting Poly(ethynylpyridine)s
초록 For 2- or 3-ethynylpyridine homopolymers with MeI or EtI, mixing the quaternized polymers with LiTCNQ or TCNQ in acetonitrile and refluxing for 30 min yielded a new type of conjugated polymer. Here, poly(ethynylpyridine)s were prepared by the polymerization of ethynylpyridines with the catalyst of (bicyclo[2.2.1]hepta-2,5-diene)dichloro palladium(II). The instrumental analysis data on the polymer structure revealed that the poly(ethynylpyridine)s have the conjugated polyene backbone structure with pyridyl substituents. The electro-optical and electrochemical properties of the resulting poly(ethynylpyridine)s will be discussed.
