Two types, ester linkage and reverse ester linkage, of five different ethynyl terminated dipolarophile curing agents (CLAs) are synthesized to prepare crosslinked polyurethanes through the formation of 1,2,3-triazole groups. In the study on the CLAs incorporated GAP-based PU, the stress at break and modulus of the polymers are increased, whereas the elongation at the break is decreased on increasing the concentration of the CLAs to the polymer, due to the increased rigid triazole networks. Moreover, the cross-link densities, determined from the Mooney–Rivlin equations, of the 1,2,3-triazole crosslinked polymers increase with increasing the concentration of CLA. Tg was also increased on increasing the cross-link densities. |
