Photothermal materials have attracted increasing attention in creating various structures, because of the opportunity for wireless control, low noise, and spatial localization of heat onto target area. Taking advantage of high photothermal efficiency of conjugated polymers, a bimorph structure was explored for generation of 3 D structure. The effect of thickness and thermo-mechanical properties on the deformation of bimorph were simulated to obtain optimum conversion of bimorph into a target structure. The resultant 2D structures was reversibly folded into a 3D structure through photothermal stimuli, to afford biomimetic complex 3D structure. Effect of the layer composition and integration of bimorphs will be presented. |
