Poly(ethylene naphthalate) random copolymers with various diol ratio were synthesized and sequence distributions were investigated by 1H-NMR spectroscopy for flexible substrate. Thermal properties and mechanical properties were investigated by DSC, TGA, TMA and DSC. In addition, on-line retardation measurement studied the effect of various diol ratio. The result showed glass transition temperature, thermal stability and mechanical properties were decreased with increasing diol content. On-line retardations were also decreased with increasing diol content but transmittance were showed the same value. |
