제목 Conjugated small-molecule dyes based on malononitrile for organic solar cells
초록 Two conjugated small-molecule-dyesbased on indacenodithieno[3,2-b]thiophene (IDTT) and 2-(2-methyl-4H-chromen-4-ylidene)malononitrile(CMCN), named IDTT-CMCN and IDTT-HT-CMCN, have been synthesized and applied inorganic solar cells. A-D-A type small molecules with CMCN can form a powerfulpush-pull structure with effective intramolecular charge transport (ICT) andenhanced optical absorption. Comparatively to IDTT-CMCN, IDTT-HT-CMCNdemonstrates a good solubility and a longer π-conjugation length due to thepresence of 3-hexylthiophene (HT) between the IDTT and CMCN moieties.IDTT-HT-CMCN with a hexylthiophene ring as a π-bridge caused a smaller band gapand improved solubility. As a result, the power conversion efficiency (PCE)reached 7.60% with a short circuit current of 12.7 mA/cm2, opencircuit voltage of 0.94 V, and fill factor of 63.8%.​
